Hi, I’m Kailey!
The things I enjoy most are playing with my mini-poodle, writing songs on my guitar, working on my novel, and teaching literacy. One of the best parts of teaching is watching a child realize they can something that once felt impossible. Watching their relationship with learning change is one of the greatest joys of my work.
Based in the East Bay, I support young readers through personalized literacy instruction grounded in my experience as a classroom teacher, school librarian, curriculum writer, and literacy educator with a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I work with students who benefit from targeted reading and writing support, helping them build confidence while strengthening fluency, comprehension, and foundational reading skills.
It is an absolute honor and a joy to help students develop as learners and to be able to watch their spark ignite and grow.
Pepper loves to greet students and keep parents company on the nearby couch.
