Reading Intervention

Targeted, individualized instruction designed to strengthen foundational reading skills, decoding accuracy, and fluency. This support is appropriate for students experiencing reading difficulty, skill gaps, or reduced confidence.

Foundational Skills

Explicit instruction in phonics, phonemic awareness, and decoding development. Sessions emphasize sound-spelling patterns, word recognition, and the development of automaticity.

Fluency & Comprehension

Development of reading accuracy, expression, and meaning-making. Instruction supports phrasing, prosody, understanding, and engagement with text.

Writing Support

Guided writing activities designed to reinforce reading development, language organization, and sound-symbol understanding. Writing is integrated to deepen literacy growth.

Instructional Approach

Instruction follows a structured, responsive model that integrates foundational skills, fluency development, comprehension, and writing. Sessions are individualized, developmentally informed, and designed to build durable literacy skills over time.
